Pahinungod
A product of close-knit community, "Where everyone knows each other's names and people look out for each other." These are the senior citizens of Mainit today, and hopefully for the years to come. They don't need just the attention but the love and care, and the recognition thus the "Pahinungod" (dedication) that TMI joyfully rewards them each year complemented with free medical and dental checkups, dance and songs and prizes to take home.
Initiated in 2011 by TMI and at that time Mainitnon sa Amerika, the first Pahinungod was a resounding success. What came after became part of our TMI history and our partnerships with the seniors of Mainit.
