TMI in partner with Generika holds medical outreach

April 12, 2022 - The Mainit Medicare Community Hospital and Tambayayong Mainit, Inc. collaborated to render a medical project called “Lifestyle Intervention on Diabetes, Hypertension and other Systemic Diseases”. The collaborative effort was headed by Chief of Hospital Dr. Chrismar Mocorro and Dr. Rodena Madria who coordinated the activity with medicines donated by Generika Pharmaceutical Company through Mrs. Felicia Carvajal of the TMI.

After the welcome message by Dr. Flora Mae Asilo, the participants of the said event were acknowledged. They were senior citizens from Brgys. Quezon and Magsaysay and some of them are members of TMI. Then, Dr. Mocorro gave a lecture on lifestyle intervention on diabetes, hypertension and other systemic diseases with the assistance of Dr. Asilo. Next, the contributed medicine supplies from the benefactors TMI and Generika were turned-over to the hospital afterwards.

The group also provided free medical consultations, gave medicines and surprise freebies to the participants. There were around 30 patients who came to the event.

Tambayayong Mainit, Inc. President Mrs. Gina Dimaampao expressed her appreciation and said she is proud to be part of TMI for the successful project that catered to the needs of the citizens, especially the ones who needed it the most. As she said, “Once a kayayong - always a kayayong”.
